1. Under graduate programmes (3 years)
- Bachelor of computer application (BCA); B.Sc (Computer Science, Information Technology, Visual Communication)
Eligibility: Higher secondary examination or an examination accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto or 3 year technical diploma examination also eligible for admission
- B.Com (Computer Applications); BBA (Computer Applications)
Eligibility: A pass in Pre-university/Higher Secondary examination/second year Foundation programme/ three year diploma/ two year diploma in teacher education or an equivalent examination
- B.Sc (Maths with Computer Applications)
Eligibility: A pass in Pre-university/Higher secondary examination/second year foundation programme/ three year diploma/two year diploma in teacher education or an equivalent examination with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects.
2. Post graduate programmes
- MBA (Information Systems) (2 years)
Eligibility: Any graduate (except 10+2+2 pattern)
- Master of Computer Applications (MCA) (3 years)
Eligibility: 3 year bachelor’s degree after completion of +2 or 3 year bachelor’s degree after completion of three year diploma of any recognized university. Candidate who have not studied Mathematics at +2 or at Diploma level should undergo a bridge programme for a week
- M.Sc Software Engineering (2 years)
Eligibility: Any degree with Maths at Higher secondary level or equivalent examination. Candidates who have not studied Maths at +2 level should undergo a bridge programme for a week
- M.Sc Information Technology (2 years); M.Sc Computer Science (2 years)
Eligibility: A pass in any degree or an equivalent examination
- M.Sc Bioinformatics (2 years)
Eligibility: Any degree in Science or an equivalent examination
- M.Com Computer Applications (2 years)
Eligibility: B.Com/BBA/BA Corporate Secretaryship/B.A. Co-operation/Bachelor of Bank Management/B.Com C.A./B.M.M./B.C.A. or an equivalent examination.
3. Post Graduate diploma programmes (one year)
- PG Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA); PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking (PGDLA&N)
Eligibility: Refer prospectus
- Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA) (one year)
Eligibility: SSLC (10th std) or an equivalent
4. Lateral entry (one year)
- M.Sc (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology)
PGDCA or MBA (Systems) or PGDIT or I year passed M.Sc (Computer Science) or I year passed M.Sc (Software Engineering) or I year passed M.Sc (Information Technology) (75% of the syllabus equivalent to this university) or any other PG Diploma in Computer studies from any recognized university with a minimum duration of one year
- Master of computer applications (MCA)-II year
Eligibility: PGDCA, PGDIT, BCA, B.Sc (CS), B.Sc (IT), Dual degree (CS/IT) holders from Annamalai university/MCA Ist year passed (75% of the syllabus equivalent to this university) or any other PG diploma in Computer studies from any recognized university with a minimum duration of one year
- Master of Computer Applications (MCA)-III year
Eligibility: M.Sc (IT)/M.Sc (CS)/M.Sc (SE)/MCA I/II year passed candidates (75% of the syllabus equivalent to this university)/MBA (Systems/E-commerce/E-Business) with under graduation in BCA/B.Sc (Computer Science/Information Technology/Visual Communication/Computer Technology)/B.E. or B.Tech (CSE/IT) from any recognized university
- BCA; B.Sc (Computer Science, Information technology, Visual Communication); BBA (Computer Applications)-II year/III year
Eligibility: Refer prospectus
- Diploma in Paramedical Science (one year): Hospital Assistance, Radiological Assistance, CT Scan and MRI Techniques, Ophthalmology Assistance, Physician Assistance, Audiometry, Speech and Hearing
- Diploma in Health Science (one year): Medical Laboratory Techniques; Operation Theatre Techniques

Scholarship as per G.O.Ms no.73 dt 14.07.2004 is available for SC/ST unemployed students if their parents annual income does not exceed Rs 1,00,000/- per annum, subject to the rules and regulation
